CTFa: Top-quality tempered sanitary glass and interior glass

With its balanced technology, the CTFa sets a new quality standard for tempered interior glass and sanitary glass. The lateral heaters warm up the surface of the glass evenly, thus creating the basis for a perfect glass transformation with no visual flaws. To ensure the optimum conditions, the temperature in the individual matrix heating zones is monitored and precisely adjusted to the requirements. Thanks to its modular design and our engineers’ decades of experience, the CTF furnace is extremely easy to maintain.

Low-maintenance, robust technology with modular design for flat glass with no visible anisotropy

HEGLA TaiFin furnaces feature a low-maintenance, robust design and produce high-quality finished products. In addition to their ultra-low-maintenance technology, they are also made of materials designed to handle almost any amount of stress or strain. If servicing is required despite all this, it can be carried out without waiting for the furnace to cool down completely to make things easier for the user. Our original spare parts are available with very short lead times throughout the worldwide HEGLA service network. The CTFa can be fully integrated into HEGLA system solutions and expanded by adding batch optimisation, automated batch formation or self-learning recipe optimisation functions.

Features

  • Specially designed for high-quality interior glass, such as glass for doors, shower walls, etc.
  • High glass quality thanks to even heat transfer via lateral heating rods
  • Appropriate, professional glass cooling after the transformation temperature has been reached
  • Real-time monitoring and precise temperature adjustment via sensors in the matrix heating zones
  • Heating element replacement possible without complete cool-down
  • Closed-circuit heating saves energy
  • Modular, low-maintenance and user-friendly design

Functional description

The batch of glass put together for the tempering process is loaded into the furnace, where it is heated quickly and evenly. The lateral heaters warm up the glass evenly from the top and bottom, thus ensuring perfect glass transformation without visual flaws.

To ensure the optimum conditions for glass transformation, the temperature in the individual matrix heating zones is precisely monitored and optimally adjusted to match the requirements.

The oscillating movement of the conveyor belts creates the basis for flat, tempered surfaces. Upon removal from the furnace, the batch is transported away and cooled down exactly according to the recipe specifications.
